Mochi is the most popular Japanese dessert, without which no tea ceremony in Japan is complete. These treats are also traditionally given at holidays, weddings and birthdays — rice mochi sweets symbolise prosperity and good luck.
This dessert is so versatile that everyone discovers something of their own in it. So original that it pleasantly surprises with its taste. It reminds you of ice cream, mousse and cake… all at once.
The tender, chewy wrapper is made from special rice flour, with a cream and berry or fruit filling inside.
