Returns & Refund Policy
At Julia Sweets Bakery, every cake and dessert is made to order using fresh ingredients. We want you to be delighted with your order, but we also adhere to strict food safety standards.
Perishable Goods
Due to hygiene and food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on cakes, mochi, or other dessert items once they have been collected or delivered. These are perishable goods and cannot be resold.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon collection or delivery. If the product is damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately via WhatsApp or Instagram so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Once the cake has been handed over to you (or your courier) in good condition, the responsibility for its safe transport and storage lies with the customer.
Cancellations
Custom orders require significant preparation and ingredient purchasing. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 72 hours or more notice: If you cancel your order at least 72 hours before the scheduled date, we will refund your deposit in full.
- Less than 72 hours notice: If you cancel less than 72 hours before the date, the deposit is non-refundable, as preparation work has likely already begun.
Refunds
If we are unable to fulfill your order due to an error on our side, a full refund will be issued immediately to your original payment method.
